Queen bed modification. Has anyone come up with a plan to repair and modify the queen bed frame and mount? My unit is still under warrantee but I don,t want the factory set up that will let me down again with limited use.

Looking for an answer. Thanks in advance.

When we took our Seville back complaining that the bed platform was pulling apart, the dealer reinforced it with 1x2s. It is now very sturdy, even with our residential king mattress on there. Used screws instead of staples, that made quite a difference.

You may want to look at the Kingston section under "Kingbed collapse." I'll bet the bed frames are the same

The plywood platform in ours started to sag in the middle. I built a torsion box, got the idea from a thread on the forum.
