Remote water usage meter

I want to track how much water passes through the lines. City water hook-up is easy to do with a hose in mind meter. I'm trying to find a meter with a remote display to put inline on the pump. Battery operated on the display.

Anybody know of a device?

Thanks,
Bob

How about no power at all?

Remote display:

It's old school and clunky, but inexpensive

Just a guess--- to see how much water they use from the tank. But would like to hear from the OP on why. Just curious.

Yup my question also, WHY.
If you fill your tank (50 gallons) and it is empty when you finish, I would say you used 50 gallons?
