Did anyone replace the stove and leave the burners with a micro-convection?
How did you use the stove space?
Are you happy withe results?
How to do it?
Thank you

Haven't done this to my Cruiser, but seen it done on other brands. There are several options, mount the convection/micro where the oven is and just gas burners above this, convert the overhead micro cabinet to additional storage. Or, install the convection/micro in place of the existing microwave unit and use the old oven area below the burners for storage. This seems the best since you don't have to move any 110V wiring. I would search other forums for additional suggestions/help.

We haven't done this either, but like Larry, I have seen it in other units.
Depending on how tall you folks are, one thing I would caution on--- If you decide to install it up top side over the range where the present microwave is, think about taking that HOT stuff out of there. Especially if it is going to be over your head or at face level. That would be awful to slip with hot stuff right at face level. We have thought of that happening even with the micro. If I was going to do this, I think it would where the oven is and the upper area would become storage cabinet space.

Like others I have seen this on some other high end RV's and as noted on this board many times the oven is almost useless. I hate to see the DW get down to lite the thing so unless it is a great need it just sits there holding up the gas burners. I like that we are thinking of the safety with the hot items coming out and I have no other ideas as space it limited. I would guess in a few years when we will start looking for a replacement I am sure this will be the norm.

yes we replaced both the micro to a micro/convection and took out the oven/stove and replaced it with a drawer dishwasher and stovetop with sealed burners. The only micro/convection that would fit we bought from Dryers. The Attwood sealed burner stove I got directly from Attwood. We had to make quite of few modifications for the micro/convection oven but the dishwasher and Attwood stove top fit right in.

On our second (first new)trailer it came with stovetop/micro-convection set-up but had it switched to gas oven for dry camping.

No pictures the dealer just cut in were the stovetop was and slid in the oven/cooktop.then they swapped the convection micro for standard micro.
