I wanted to renew this post because I’ve had several people message me wanting to know if I think the air flow system is worth the money. I think it is. As mentioned in my earlier post I definitely noticed increase air flow from my vents. And using the link will get you 15% off.

I hope I'm not stepping on anybody's toes or cutting off anyone's income with my post.
I looked into this system a while back, and did a fair amount of research into the flow of the air conditioning system in an RV. I took mine apart and found baffles all wrong, ducts partially blocked, and a lot of things that could be improved easily to get a more efficient A/C flow.
I think this airflow thing would work great, but many have commented about the price.
Well, I also found a few YouTube videos that show you how to modify the flow like the AirFlow thing does, but you can make it yourself from off the shelf foam boards and foil tape.
I designed one that I could also make some use of the dumps, and still have good flow.
My build was a great success. I found the A/C was much quieter, and had a bunch more flow to the end run vents. I was very happy with the results.

Re: RV Airflow

Just installed it 2 wks ago. HUGE difference in the A/Cs ability to cool the whole camper. Took about 45 minutes but worth every minute and every penny!

It's been in the 90s here since about mid June with a few days here and there in the mid 80s. Hi humidity every day, just Africa hot.

Before I installed the thing the temp inside on these days was 78 to 82 during the hottest part of the day.

After installing the RV Airflow the A/C unit is now keeping the camper to the set point of 75 in Low Cool Auto. The A/C now will actually run and reach temp and shut down. Amazing difference.
Before putting this thing in it would just run constantly.

The best part is the volume and speed of the air coming out of the A/C ducts. The bunkhouse at the back of the camper is now as cool as the rest!

Maybe the boys will stop complaining they're hot now....

Now that's a good report, and write up.
We don't seem to get good feedback on things any more.
Thank you

Another thing I did when I installed mine. I went to all the ceiling air vents; took off the vent covers and used H-Vac silver tape and taped inside the vents where it wasn’t sealed, letting some air go into the ceiling space instead of all flowing out the vents.

Papa-T. In my previous Rv I did the same. Going to do it in my newer Rv.
