Last week I beefed up and modified a cabinet and installed a vented Splendide in a Zinger31SB. We are very happy with the operation of the unit. However when the spin cycle starts it is sort of likebeing in the cockpit of a B29on take off. When the spin cycle is spinning the fastestit is fine. Itonly happens atthe start and end of the spin cycle.

The unit is level.

Any suggestions to remedy this?

I read something on another forum about a problem like that and someone posted about making sure the shipping brackets had been removed form the unit. The poster found out they hadn't and once removed the unit had no vibration at all. We are going to be looking at a Splendide 2100XC vented unit in the next year or so.

Thank you sir for a response.

I did remove them and did put in the 4 plastic caps prior to my post here.

The shipping brackets are actually 4-4" bolts in the rear of the unit with a scrap piece of hose attached. I assume they are there to keep the drum from moving during shipping.

The unit does not sit on the sub-floor of the trailer and is actually 18" off the finished floor in the cabinet. I think maybe that is where the momentum is coming from with the vibration.

In any event, if I can't remedy the vibration it is something we can live with and it beats the alternative.
