Storage and a Fireplace

We decided we needed some more storage and along the way I decided I would install an electric fireplace while at it. So we got storage and the fireplace.

Thanks Lloyd!
She wasn't expecting the fireplace. It was a surprise. But the amount of storage we got is incredible. And the top is a window seat for the dogs and a bed for the grand kids.

We took out two recliners and a center table. under the center table was the water pump and linea for the water. i ledt those there and civered them. We removed a pull out sofa from the slide out on the right and put the recliners there. We never used the sofa.
I had a tough time finding a matching stain. I got what I thought would be good and it works great.
I'm going too get better pictures tomorrow. send also measure the sofa and offer it out for sale.

If you know of or hear of someone looking for a leather flip sofa sleeper, please pass this along.

Here is the link for the post in the classifieds section here.

Nice, I think I'm going the same route you went,I have the same set-up you had the sofa is basically worthless. I will use the same fireplace that I got for the wooden fireplace I made in my living room you can use it with or without the e
heater on.
click on link I still can't figure out how to get my pictures on here.

We used the RV for the first time this last month after installing the fireplace. It makes an incredible difference with heat. Although we spent the last month in Florida, the temps got down to the 30s some nights. We let the fireplace run and it heated the entire RV most of the night. The furnace only ran a few times.
The only problem we have is that we cannot run too much on the same circuit. It trips the breaker. So I'm going to add another breaker in the box (which there is room for two more) and have it on it's own breaker.

I'm going to put in separate power for electric heaters. Our fireplace hasn't been an issue with the breakers (yet) but the electric heater and coffee pot don't get on well on the same line.

Got the wiring installed last fall but haven't finished the hookup yet. That will probably happen when we get home in April.
