Sunset trail makeover

Hello,

I own a 2007 Sunset Trail. The exterior appearance has obviously deteriorated due to sunshine and rain. The white panels are now dull and the stickers are fading.

Does anyone know of a technique to bring it back to a younger look? Can the stickers be removed without damaging the panels? All answers appreciated.

:-) many thanks

As far as the dull panels, a light rubbing compound followed by a good waxing May bring them back. It depends on what the finish is. If it is gel coat paint rubbing compound followed by a waxing will definitely help.

As far as the decals go, I don't know any way to save them. I used this product to remove stripes from my wife's car which has some fiberglass panels. It was amazing how easy it was. It was like using a pencil eraser.

With any technique or product, test on a small area in an inconspicuous spot.

Here's a website to checkout, not cheap but results look good.

The product called Poli Glow is supposed to solve the problems you are having. They have you tube video and can get product on Ebay. I bought a kit but have not used it yet.

Only problem with Poli Glow is it only lasts about 10 months and has to be reapplied. It takes 5-6 coats per application too.
