I'm thinking (i know- it's dangerous) about getting a surge protector for our new 355ss. This is 50 amp. I'm looking at a couple from Progressive Ind.

One is a postable surge protector/polarity tester for $ 99.88 and the other one is called an electrical management system, portable 50 amp for $349.88.

Both are available from Tweetys.com. Has anyone had any experience with either one?

We're going to betraveling to a lot of different campgrounds and rv parksand wanted to stay on the safe side.

Thanks for any help.

I have a 50 AMP Autoformer mounted inside our trailer and would not be without some surge protection. I have read good things about the Progressive unit as well. I have seen our unit kick in from time to time at some parks so I know it is working.
