Toilet replacement is a bust

As part of my remodel, I planned to replace my thetford low rise toilet with a dometic 310 porcelain toilet.

We had a mess of plumbing problems and after 2 days and several trips to Lowes, we finally got the thing in.

Guess what? It doesn't work. The valve in the bowl leaks all the water out, and it keeps running. As part of the plumbing issues, I added a shutoff valve to the toilet, so for now, we keep turning it on and off.

Very disappointed in this $140 toilet. It looks nice though, and there is more room in the bathroom. I tore out the 20 year old carpet and put down some vinyl, But the toilet doesn't work.

Just replaced ours with the Dometic 310. First one I had to return to Amazon. Had a crack when it arrived. The new one works great.

Replaced by dometic

Dometic says the ball valve is probably warped. They have improved them, and are sending me a replacement toilet for free. Also, apparently the water is supposed to run for a few minutes after flushing to replenish the water in the bowl.
