They work but I made a heavy duty version that stays attached to front and the rear.

They don't look like they would be hard to make. What did you make yours out of? How many and how did you orientate them?

Tim I made my first one out Uni-Struct from Home Depot and then made them from 1" x 1" aluminum tube stock and installed them just behind the front and rear Jacks and used a 2"heavy duty rachet strape.

I finally got a chance to use my Valterra Stabilizers. I will have to admit that I was impressed. I put one on each side just in front of the wheels. It stopped a good 90 percent of the front to back movement.

We purchased 2 and they have made a noticeable difference. We put one under the rear bumper and one under the beam just to the right of the stairs. The intent was to put it under the stairs, but there are other things there (plumbing, wiring, something) blocking access to that area. At any rate, we do like them! They are simple to use and even if the TT shifts or settles a bit one way or another, you've still got some good stability there. A good investment IMHO.
