Vehicle Storage / rusty brakes
While RVing the van sits in the garage on a sheet of visqueen as a moisture barrier and there is a Battery-Minder on a timer keeping the battery charged. Still upon our return we always had costly brake repairs due to rusty brake rotors.
NOT THIS YEAR after spraying both sides of each rotor with Fluid Film and gently applied the brakes, traveling a few feet backward and forward to distribute the film.
Upon our return I carefully took the van out and rode the hell out of the brakes to burn off the film.
This is a great product.

I don't know if I would like lanolin and petroleum oils on my brake pads all winter. And then have a heat build up on my rotors and pads when I try to burn it off. Has to have a negative effect on the pad material.

I bought a set of Power Stop replacement rotors and pads for my TV, a little over a year ago...The instructions say to take the vehicle on the road do around 55 MPH and smoke the brakes three times without coming to a complete stop, to break them in....With that being said, don't know anything about the product Dave is talking about...

Road Debris
IMHO:
Those shiny rotors look so clean but imagine for a moment what they are exposed to as you travel down the roadway. That road spray reaching your rotors isn’t clean there is oil, fuel, grit, chemicals, salt, deer tallow, possum pieces. All that and they still work.

Lloyd,
When we headed East out of Buffalo Wyoming, we encountered miles of flattened rabbits. There were plenty of carcass on the shoulder but on the roadway there was a furry spot every 100 feet. If I were a coyote then I'd be headed that way for the winter.

After looking at their website, no surprise to find the automotive applications Don't include brake rotor care.
It probably does the job well but kinda of a sticky point, to coat the rotors.
I can't imagine it affecting the pads and after burning it off, probably allows the brakes to work again as required.
Just not a fan here!
