Vent Covers, either Maxx Air or ??

Was at CW and looked at the vent covers and saw that CW carries another brand besides Maxx Air. The nice thing about those is that they have vents on three sides of the cover AND they are less money than the Maxx Air.Anyone have any experience with those?

I've got them. They are called Ramble. So far they have worked great, I've had them on since day one (2years now) no problems.

Very cool, thanks for the update. Our local RV service store carries the Maxx Aire andthey are only $1 more than CW's price for vent and installation. Its silly for us to drive so far to CW to save a buck per vent so we are going to stay with Maxx Aire.

I have Maxx Aire on My "other" 5er ( never sold my old one, 24' Layton no slides use it for boon docking & hunting trips), no problems with those either & bathroom vent is open (about a 1/2") 24-7-365.

I'll be installing Maxx Air covers as soon as it warms up. They were a Christmas gift. Free makes them my favorite brand

Anyone here use the Turbo/Maxx and if so how do you like it? I would to install one over the bathroom to get better air flow and rain protection. Have had water get in a few times while not home.

I installed the Turbo/Maxx with the thermostat. No complaints.On high with the door closedwillcreate quite a whirlwind.Iwired it into the circuit and left the old fan active if anyone wants to run it instead. I leave the water closet vent open all the time.

I had the Turob/Maxx on our old trailer with a variable speed control. I wouldn't even bring our new 30BH home without thermostat controlled covers fore and aft. I put a normal cover over the bathroom. The new ones have a three-speed control. Low is near-silent, and high quieter than the AC. We use them quite a bit during Oct-Mar in Texas.

I went ahead and got the latest thing MaxxAir makes and that's the

MaxxFan. I got the fully auto with remote and power lid for the kitchen

and a manual lid no remote for the bathroom. The bathroom one will

however respond to the remote. I took power from the nearby light for

the kitchen fan. The bathroom of course already had power for the OE

fan (noise maker). These fans have 10 speeds in 10% increments. They

will move a lot of air so I can actually get the air moving in here

now. The mid to lower settings are pretty quiet while still moving a

lot of air. The higher settings are less stealthly.

Today was nice so i installed my Maxxair Vent

Covers over the rear bunks and the bathroom. I was missing a nut from the third package so I didn't get the front bedroom one done. I swear I didn't lose the nut...i think. I don't mind being on the roof but I hate ladders. While up there I notices some cracks in the caulking that weren't there in the fall. I'll need to go get some of that messy stuff and get that taken care of quickly.

I think it might have been on the old forum but do you get enough clearance with the fantastic fan cover hitting the vent covers. I too want to add them to my camper too.
