Where do you put your cutlery??

Reaching out to the 270BH owners..My wife and I just purchased this trailer and didnt notice the lack of drawers in the kitchen...
Just wondering where others store their cutlery tray?
Any good mods to add drawers?
Inside the one cupboard there is the two pull outs but thats really it..

We overlooked that fact too. Until we come up with something better we are using a plastic container that is the same width as the shelf and just short enough to fit under the top, pull out shelf. We are just dumping all cutlery in this one container, not separated, just loosely packed in there. Wish there was a really shallow drawer we could add somewhere just for this.
We need to re-arrange and are looking to do so this weekend. We are not using our space very well at the moment.

You know we looked at so many trailers before we settled on this one, some things just got overlooked or we determined we could live without it. Coming from a pop up with NO drawers we felt like a king & queen moving up to this.

One of my projects this weekend was to add a drawer to the cabinet under the sink. It won't be pretty but should give us the extra space.

Have you thought about one of those drawers that attaches to the bottom of the table?

yeah we are planning on adding those under table drawers for the kids craft/colouring stuff....
We did the same as you MidOhioHunter.. We made the move from a Caochmen Clipper 107 to this.. I'm happy with the trailer and really if you compare the other features ( barreled ceiling, outdoor kitchen etc there's not many other trailers that can compete with it. The drawer issue is a major oversight, but I wouldnt give the other features up for more drawers... I was thinking of adding a drawer under the sink as well but was kinda hoping that someone had done it and had pictures haha.

I have three drawers but for the silverware and 6 steak knives, I use a standing wooden holder that has three dividers for silverware and one divider for napkins made of wood, have seen them in wire etc. While traveling, I put a plastic tupperware type container under the sink and stand the silverware up in this. This works great. You could get a plastic round container and stand up your spaculas, large spoons, tongs, wooden spoons etc in this and store it the same way under the sink or in the cupboard if you have room. I have a pan rack that I stand my dishes and paper plates and bowels in stored above the cupboard. I use a stainless steel paper towel holder and have two stainless steel containers for my coffee and store those above the sink in the cupboard while traveling. Works great.

kcandsting and tim : We have the 25rb reserve, op has the 270 (non resreve)and they don't have the 3 drawers like we have. (I added another drawer in the empty space above the 3) Their slide trays are behind a door. There must be a way to add more trays or customize a set of drawers behind the door.

You with the 270's or any sunset trail ultra-lites should be able to rig up drawers with out finishes fronts and be able to use them as drawers when the door is open.

Nice job on the extra drawer. Wish they would have put that in to begin with.

My Zinger doesn't have any drawers, either.
For silverware and serving utensils we use one of those small roll-around three drawer plastic cabinets. While travelling, it is bungeed to the table leg. When set up, it fits next to the stove butting up to the dinette. Maybe not the prettiest thing, but it works.
Next trailer, though...

We use the drawers and settled for less. We got some knives that have their own cover and put them in the drawer. We decided we didnt need as much and have been fine without it. I have considered another drawer but have not taken that step. The first drawer is out small utensils and the second drawer are all the bigger ones.

Got the drawers with sliding hardware from Crossroads dealer as part of the purchase. See if CR still has them.
