Anyone have a fix for the Dinette Table that wobles something fierce?

Take your table off the posts. Measure the distance between the floor mounted post holders, then measure the distance between the table mounted holders. There will be a difference. Adjust one of the table holders so they match the floor holders on center. This will allow your posts to fully insert into the holder straight and will stopthe slop.

This repair is for the booth type.Edited by: nrausa

Free standing or dinette booth?

In our last trailer - dinette booth - I added two legs to the back of the top - near the outside edges. it had two metal round posts that held it up. Purchased at Lowe's - Waddell 27-1/2"L x 1-1/2"Dia. Mixed Round Taper

Traditional Wood Table Leg. Used metal plate to attach it - Waddell 3" Straight Top Plate.<h1 style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-size: 18px; color: rgb40, 40, 40; width: 329.7833251953125px; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; ">

My Dinette table is the free standing one with four chairs, not the booth style.

I just did a mod on my free-standing table to add leveling pads to the feet. I bought the leveling pads at Lowe's for around $2. It was an easy install. Fixed my problem. We unscrewed our table so we could move it out to give us more room when we have company, and depending on where we sat it, it would wobble.

Had to re-anchor ours - screws were loose. The sliding top moves some so I have to put little shims in the sliding part to get to stop moving side to side. Kind of hard to explain the last part.

The top on ours moves out and there is a piece that flips up in the back to make the top about 1 foot larger. Must be put down and top pushed back in prior to putting in the slide. This is what makes the top wobble - sliding part of the top.
