2009 Hampton, No Bypass??

First year winterizing. No problem with cold water lines. Looking at HW tank see water line in and water line out of tank with shut-off valves on each. Sticker showing position of cold water in valve for winterizing but no visible (to me anyways) bypass line to get the antifreeze into the hot water lines. Am I missing something? Bought used so no manuals.

There should be a hose t'd off of the inlet hose to the water pump, with a valve to open it , so the antifreeze can be sucked into the pump and sent through the plumbing. Mine is laying in the compartment that the pump is in. If you have one it will be where the pump hides.

That is not what he is asking. He has to look for a short hose between the hot and cold on the water heater. It is there . Just turn both valves the opposite of when in regular use.

Missed the part about getting it in to the "hot water lines".

Camper at the site (seasonal). Going to try again on Thursday, looked closely when we winterized a couple of weeks ago and no pipe between the two lines at the tank. In case can't find it will disconnect hot line out and use portable pump (uses a drill to power it) to force a-freeze through HW lines. I'll update. Saw a similar question on the Hampton forum but no answer.

Turns out the brass fitting with yellow valve that I thought was part of gas line was the bypass. Original owner must have diy using what he had available. In the end it worked and camper now closed for the winter. Thanks for the responses.
