We northerners know how to live don't we? Pushed the snowblower a little further back in the shed this morning, (we ain't out of the woods yet, so I can still get to it.) Going to have the trailer inspected and registeredFriday morning!! We'll dewinterize it Saturday morning, then take her to the dealer for a front air conditioner w'heat strip. (We've waited long enough for that little convenience!) Good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, (they're awful close now), we'll be camping by mid-May.

Just pumped all the pink stuff out today! Getting fairly excited, we are heading out Wednesday night. Just for a week, then home a week and then gone again for 2. Thats pretty much how our schedule will work out till October. Work 2 weeks, camp 1 week, work 1 week, camp 2 weeks. Repeat. Wish we already had a couple weeks in, but we have been busy with the new house, and work has been fairly hectic too. Going to be nice to get out! I finally got a nice SLR camera, so I am looking forward to (hopefully) figuring that out!

Yeah I know, we are behind even for us. With the trips we have planned, we should still get 60 nights in this year though.

I figure that is fairly good, considering my work schedule and the length of our season up here. I am certainly jealous of the people that get double the time out we do, or more. Something to work towards though, right?

A couple pics from our first week out...

The drifts were still 15 feet deep in spots

Snow line was fairly low... Blowing snow had everything covered the first day.

Of around 200 sites, we were the 3rd camper for most of the week. The day before we left it got nice, and the camper population exploded to about 15. Still pretty good, its nice having a town/natioanl park to yourself!

It's amazing seeing all those snow drifts, and green grass also!

Attempting to get dealer or factory to install a stand alone a/c in front bedroom. I wanted the coleman/mack new low power 12,400 unit. Will run on Honda 2000iu. I want this separate with its own power plug and breaker to the slide out side of a st30re. Dealer said they will not do this. I may have to look elswhere for a unit or brand as I boondock mostly and this is very important to us.

Would you kindly tell me which dealer has agreed to you a/c installation and how is the instillation going to be perfomed. I like Crossroads but not very cooperative on any modifications. Also does your installation void the roof warranty.

In adavance thank you

crossroads does no custom motification, you get it the way it's built, we looked at a new Rushmore and I wanted one without a skylite in the bathroom and they wouldn't do that....what you want is possible, I think a few guys on here have done the same thing, it won'y hurt your roof warranty,
