Hunter11...Well its sticking to the grass in the yard, but not the driveway...yard is all white, but it doesn't remind us of powder like in Denver, more like a wet snowcone...

Russ Joyce did not show up to demo how to use a snow shovel, so God made it 49 degrees, and it all melted. Will be in the mid 70's by Wed. so I think to celebrate we will go camping this next week end.

Russ I see that your next trip is to California, You had better make an excuse to Joyce, and leave tomorrow. My father said according to his methods you are going to get snow for the next six days. I am not about to argue with him, as he is 92 years young, and according to family lore (He being the main one) he is never wrong

Stan-

The previous pic was looking west. Here's one looking south. I'm not smart enough to use Photoshop. The lot premium for the view was big time back in 1997. Couldn't afford to build until two years ago.

Cowboy-

Thanks!

Frank-

Can't see across the valley due to it's snowing. Just got a call from a friend on the Utah coaching staff who's in San Diego recruiting. Says don't come yet...it's raining. Guess that's where some of the snow over the next few days is coming from.

You know Russ that when people say our generation is very self centered and does not share well with others, I will gladly point out how you generously have share your snow with Texas (Huston) and us in Louisiana and Mississippi. Your generousity extends to the California desert to the tune of 18 inches of snow. Darn I am impressed.

Coastn,
That is a very nice view!!! Colorado has many nice views!!
Our view in Fruita isn't as good as yours, but we have about 10 inches of white stuff most everywhere. And the numbers on the temp gauge are very low!!!!!!!

John-

I always enjoy the view and colors of the rock looking towards the Colorado National Monument from the Fruita campground.

It's warmed up to 13 degrees. That's up from a high of -1 yesterday.

Coastn,
Yes, the view of the Colorado Nation Monument if nice. It has the look of eastern Utah and we like red rock formations.
We also like the alpine country of Colorado, especially the San Juans. So many places, so little time.
