Don't know if it was the Bounce dryer sheets or the Fresh Cab, but we had very little evidence of small, furry visitors in the trailer when we got it out of storage today. A few reminders here and there, but overall, pretty light on the mouse problems. Next year, maybe I'll also add in some peppermint-flavored cotton balls and a few cloves (sounds like good suggestions, thanks) and see if we can reduce the mouse problem to non-existent.

Hey Duster,
For you, and all who have problems, I've found the best way to control mice is to place several traps around any point of the RV that makes contact with the ground. Another, if you're parked outside, is to park away from buildings, and park in short grass.

Would that work with three feet of snow all around the camper (grin).
I will stick with the Fresh Cab, it hasn't let me down yet.

We had major problems with mice a few years ago with mothballs. Now we use bounce sheets and have had no signs of mice. Plus the camper smelled fresh after taking it out of winter storage.

I use FreshCab in the basement and in the living space. This year I'm going to put a pan of kitty litter in just to help absorb moisture. There is a local theory that the kitty litter fools the mice into thinking there is a cat somewhere.

I had someone suggest peppermint oil this weekend as well. The FreshCab has heavy pine and mint scent so that would be similar. A neighbor uses mothballs, dryer sheets, and flea collars to keep vermin out of his Avion. It does seem to work but there are several 5 lb pans of mothballs around (almost overpowering) in his barn.

Homeland Security! Fresh Cab throughout interior and external storage, dryer sheets in drawers and interior storage areas, electronic deterents, and moth balls scattered under trailer.
No mice but impossible to tell what is doing the trick just know it is working.
