Well i messed up!

So we all do dumb things from time to time, lol. winterizing the 5ver last fall i blew out the lines opened the drains, drained the hot water tank, poured antifreeze in the drains. followed all the directions. Forgot one thing, first trip out this year i opened the outside shower, usually use it to fill dog bowls. well crap lol, must have been some residual water in the little shower handle and it cracked the sides. was quiet refreshing when i got the unexpected spray of cold water, lol. well lesson learned. replacement handle is less than $10 so i think i got off cheap.

That’s a cheep lesson. I remember a few years ago I had winterized everything. First cold night below I was lying in bed and I said out loud “Oh S—t”. Jumped out of bed and went to the garage to finish what I’d forgot. The outside shower. Luckily it was the first cold night so it hadn’t froze. It was the last time I forgot that.
