Anyone no what the small angle iron pieces coming off the frame, and pointing at the inside of the tires are for? Looks real close to the tires. Thanks Jim

That was for shocks. Your rig may have had them originally. There was a problem a few years back with those mounts hitting the tires so CR issued a fix to cut them back and remount the shocks closer to the frame. If your mounts are too close to the tires, you can cut them off a bit. The use of shocks went away around 2008. I still have mine with no problems once they were repaired under warrantee.

We had an 05 29RK and it did not have those because shocks were not an option. They added the shock option in 06. As long as it will not interfere with the tires shocks should be easy to add.

The fix was to cut approximately 1/2" off the end of the angle bar and remount the top of the shock to the next hole. If your angle bar looks like it has been cut off, or if you have about 1" clearance between the tire sidewall and the angle bar then your mounts have probably been corrected.

Does anyone have the shock part numbers? Can't hardly afford to get them from Crossroads, they charge way io much for packaging and shipping. CC Cruiser early 2006 Thanks Jim

I would upgrade to the Equa flex system and do away with the shocks

I believe Monroe has shocks for trailers. You might give them a call and see if they can fix you up.
