2008 29CK awning replacement problem

We had the awning replaced last Thanksgiving and did't test it out until we were in Maine this summer. Mistake. When we fully roll it out, the inner square "tube" falls out of the one mounted on the RV (this is the one to the front of the RV). They now lack about 6 inches to matie with each other. I've sent pictures, and they've sent a new longer, outer tube (RV mounted) and I have the same problem. I'm sure that they have installed the wrong awning; one that's too long when fully extended. The RV dealership disagrees. I'm waiting until we get back home in November to take it back to them, but I need some information (read "ammunition") beforehand. Would someone that has this model please measure their fully extended awning at the top from where the adjustment/tensioning tube meets the RV to the inside of the spring roller on the other end? Thank you so much.
