Take off a outlet cover and pull the receptable out by releasing the screws. Fish around the hole, on my previous 2009 it was easy to grab onto the reflectix and verify.

Start removing light switch and plug in covers on slide outs. If you don't see the silver on the insulation, then it probably doesn't have it.

I have a 305SK Patriot so if what you say is true I have the Polar Tec package. That's great I learn something new every day. Thanks

I would not assume you have it, I would check to make sure by the methods listed above.

Good to know.... I have the sticker on the outside of my unit, but I will definitely verify when I bring it home in the spring.
Hypothetically, if anyone of us were sold a unit claiming to have polar tec, and 1 or 2 or 3 years down the road we find out it actually doesn't, are we SOL because we should have caught that during the PDI/orientation? Or.....????

Your guess is as good as mine. Our dealer refused to take it in on trade or put any money in it. The company also refused to take it on trade. I'm sitting here with a trailer I can't trade. If I sell it I'd have to disclose the fact that the PolarTec insulation isn't in any of the slides. Who would buy something like that?

Happycampers, in reality there is no way you would know rather or not you have the PolarTec during the PDI unless the dealer pulls a couple of the electrical receptacles both in the slide and an exterior wall of the main coach or pulled part of the bottom cover. How else are you going to check to know you have it? You really have no way to know if you have the entire coach wrapped or just part of it or if you have any at all at a regular PDI. JMHO

Sounds like you are stuck with it. I would just use it and enjoy it and when I got ready to trade it just let it speak for itself. It has the polartec symbol so when youtrade it all looks good. Tough to pass it on to someone else, but that is what your dealer and crossroads did to you. Can't expect that you would take a total loss on it.

I sent mine to the factory to get the sidewall repaired. They came to me, here in TN and are going to bring it back to me. I have been very pleased with the service I have gotten up to this point. They have always taken care of any problem I have had.

Is there anything new to this story, Pickleloaf? I notice you have re-posted a couple old posts in this thread without adding anything.

It sounds to me like Crossroads offered to do the fix. I would say the balls in your court.

I don't understand why you did not let Crossroads take the rv back to the factory. It's a factory, not a repair shop. I'm sure you would have been satisfied with the results, I know a few who had it returned to the factory and were very satisfied with the results. IMO it was a mistake not to take Crossroads up on their offer. Now it looks like your 2 year warranty is going to run out soon. A lot of people go out to the crossroads rally just to have repairs and adjustments made. Reconsider your decision.
