I have to agree with Mark here. I would much rather have it repaired at the factory for something as major as what you are talking about. While you would prefer they give you a new unit, that probably isn't going to happen. Take it in to Crossroads and let them fix it, then you can sell or trade it and not have to feel guilty about it, or keep it and enjoy it. They will probably even pick it up and bring it back to you if you can't get off work to go.
