Just wondering if anyone has added a second AC unit to the bedroom and if so, what does it take to upgrade to the 50 amp electrical? Or is there a difference between the 13500 and 15000 BTU units? We have an 06 29CK.

You can add a second AC unit to the bedroom with 30 amp service. The front AC unit will have to be wired on its own 20 amp circuit and plugged into the 20 amp plugs that are on most power poles. You would just have to weigh the cost of doing it that way as opposed to having your 30 amp converted to 50 amp. I believe Larry Day (Dayle1) has changed his Cruiser over to 50 amp service and could give you some good advice on how it is done. And as Mike said we also have 2 AC units and use them both all the time here in the South.

If you have a 15k main unita 13.5k in the bedroom would work fine in your unit.Edited by: Hunter11
