Exclamation

This is what the last page of the Owner's Manual says in part:

"These inspections and services must be performed annually by a qualified CrossRoads RV dealership. A 30-day grace period will apply to all annual inspections. Please have the Inspection and Service Certification Form completed by the qualified CrossRoads RV dealer when service is completed. Keep this original Inspection and Service Certification and fax/mail a copy to CrossRoads RV Service Department annually when service is completed."

For everyone who has experience in this, I have a few questions:
1. The form has only 5 years but I thought the roof was 12-year warranty.
2. When does "annual" start? From the date of purchase or the state inspection sticker?
3. Do you have to take care of "fax/mail" or did your dealer do it?

Thanks.

Roof is a seperate warranty. I believe date of delivery you need to verify that. Your dealer should notify Crossroads ask for verification. I am sure others will comment.

The dealer has sent the form to crossroads and they have provided me a copy. I provide the dealer a copy of the form every year so they do not have to "look" for one.

From my manual:
This Limited Warranty extends only to the first retail
purchaser and begins on the date of original retail delivery, or the date
the recreational vehicle is first placed into service (whichever occurs
first).

I have an independent rv service company here that can do the inspections. I called CR to verify they can do them. The service man told me CR is calling him to do the inspections on the Redwoods. I can totally understand. He got my closet door replaced after the dealer spent a year saying they had it ordered. BTW, I have been told the dealer is involved in 19 litigation cases from RV sales. Interesting to say the least.

As for the roof staples depends on what they did. If they just hammered them back down you will have the problem again most likely after you have let the warranty expire.

I would ask how they corrected the problem.

There may be bad wood on that side of the trailer from a water leak.
Ask what condition the wood was in.
