Well, I'm sure other's are doing the same....

We winterized today and dropped off the camper at the dealer's for some warranty items. We took delivery last August of our early built 2009 Cruiser. This year was a good season andjust wrapped up our last trip today for the long Columbus day weekend.

Our season started back in early April, the kids, wife and I took a 3 week cross country trip from Maine to New Mexico. Our camper sat for a week and off we went again, we have been on the go ever since. In my estimation we put well over 5K miles this year.

We have had a few minor issues and the camper is in the show for a few niggling issues:

Shower door hardware is worn and door rubs bottom now

2 day/night shades have frayed their cords, dealer will re-thread with new cord

Black tank flusher never works

Bunk room saftey window leaks between glass and frame

Fridge has quit working on gas

These are all minor issues and we let them accumulate through the season knowing fall would be our families camping downtime. All in all, the season was very pleasant and the Cruiser has held up well to a dog, 4 year old and 6 year old.

Next season plans will start soon. Depending on the economy I'd like to do another extended trip and maybe re-visit the factory for another tour and camp in the area to sneak a peek at other RV manuf. and how they build em'!

Hope everyone has a great season.

Winterized? what's that, we keep ours in a combat ready mode, just so we can leave in a heartbeat.

Dealers down in these parts are running six weeks to - two months behind, so they say.

If we need anything done, we either do it ourselves, or find some one that's willing and qualified to help.

We're still six weeks away from our first freeze and even then it's only likely to go down to 31* or so.

Hard freeze is early this year, snow showers tonight and 2-4" anything above 2 thousand feet. That's about it for us this year!

As far as dealer they aren't running that far behind, I normally fix stuff myself but I don't have the material or patience to fix any of the items listed and they have a nice big heated shop to do the work in, my option is my gravel driveway

We just finished a four day Columbus day weekend with the some of the kids and grandkids. Will winterize this week and put it away until January 2nd when we head to Gulf Shores, Al for our three month winter stay. Hope the new cruiser is as good as the old one was. So far it has been.

Yea it's always a real bummer for us. We aren't ski people and I'm not a big fan of winter (it gets old after awhile).

Let's hope for a light snow year!

We are leaving the 17th to mid-Missouri until late November for archery then firearm whitetail deer hunting and archery and firearm turkey hunting. could possibly get down into the low 20's. This is our first winter in our 2010 cruiser so we are hoping that having the heat on nothing will freeze up.

You should be fine, we stayed nice and warm in ours last couple of nights were below 32 degree's. We have the astrofoil upgrade and it works. If it really gets cold set a ceramic heater on LOW in the pass-thru where your connections are - that area doesn't get much heat except the radiant heat from the duct work.

We winterized last week but we now decided to flush out the antifreeze and plan to

head out for a few days camping on Thursday. We got some real unseasonably cold weather here in Coloradoover the weekend but it should be into the 60s in a day or so.

I hate to see the camping season here in Colorado end. However, after I get my axles repaired we plan to head out to Arizona for a month but it won't be until afterthe holidays.

One more trip October 24-27, then probably blow out the lines. One more over Thanksgiving and then put in the antifreeze for the winter....

Winterized and stored last week. Currently snowing here at 11,000 feet elevation in Colorado. Taking the truck to Vegas this weekend for a college football game. Forecast for Saturday is 88. Think I'll stay a little longer and play golf. Why come home to watch it snow?

I have this weekend for sure and maybe one more after that. I camped in late march this year and the temps got into the upper 20's with a slight wind, 1-inch of snow overnight, and with the upgraded insulation and insulated windows, my little disc furnace kept the camper above 67-degrees until about 3:00 a.m. The furnace kicked on and only ran 1-2 times until morning to keep the temp stabilized. This weekend lows look to be 35 on friday and 30 on saturday night, so it should be another good test.
