Not the slide topper awning, but a shade awning. My brother and I were talking this weekend and we both have Cruisers with 3 slides. The living room slide limits the length of the awning that can be installed on the side of the camper. We were wondering about installing a slide on the side of the living room slide. I'll probably need to talk to the factory to see if the frame work on the slide can take the stress but we were wondering if anyone had seen or tried this idea to get more shade.

Thoughts?

Recently returning from the Berkshirestherewas an older Cruiser (judging by the front cap design) behind us for quite a distance. It had awnings on both sides. Never got a good look as to window placement but itdefinitelyhad a awning on driver and passenger sides.
I thought it was interesting never noticedthatbefore. Crossroads can give yiou the info based on model. Good luck.

On our past unit we put individual window awnings to shade the interior from afternoon sun and they worked great.Usually there isn't enough room on both sides of the unit to use a big awning anyways so we just did the windows! JHHO jb
