Bed Shocks

We added a Novafoam mattress topper to our bed in our 2013 Cruiser from Costco that added about 50 lbs to the weight of the bed. The factory installed shocks could not handle the additional weight and will not hold the bed up. We went to Camping World and bought 120 lb. shocks and installed them. We just raised the bed and found a unpleasant surprise....the shocks had pulled the bottom brackets out of the bed frame. Luckily it did not do any damage to the outside frame that you can see. Apparently we have too high of pound shocks for the weight. Has anyone changed out their shocks and have had success? The factory installed shocks are 60lb.

You may need to re-enforce the area where the shocks bolt to. When they modified the bed slide on you rig the tech broke bent two of the shocks. Fount out that the bed pulled from the wall and that must have caused the shock to bend.
