Had the bed slide modified last fall - pretty much re-built. The fiberglass under the bed slide in the area where the last roller hits (under the wardrobe area) is now cracking due to the stress applied from the roller. Had cracking last year too and the bottom of the slide (sides too) was replaced.
The fix now may be the metal strips that was originally going to be installed to deal with the cracking. I understand that the Redwood and Blackwood (now the Rushmore I think) slides had the strips installed to deal with the cracking.
On a road trip and will be contacting CrossRoads - I'll see if they stand by the 2 year warranty or with a problem coming back less than a year after the slide re-build.

That really stinks. I guess something like this could always happen when they go from one system to another. The difference will be, after the new system turns out to be bad , will they stand behind the product after the warranty runs out???

I sent e-mails to some service "contacts" at CrossRoads RV. Two people that I had work with when I had issues with our rig last year and a new name that I have seen on the forum. One e-mail was returned - appears that Bill Stout no longer works for CrossRoads RV.
Got in touch with Bill Hodge and it looks like some of the exterior rollers will be re-installed and metal plates installed for the rollers to ride on.
Not sure why we are having problems with the bottom of the slide cracking - - does not seem that others with the same unit are having the same problem.
I'll have them check for water intrusion again - one of the reasons for the cracking last summer.
As a side not - - Bill indicated that he will be taking on a different job the end of the week - - so those that have been working with him on issues may get a different rep. to help with the issue.
Picked up the fifth wheel today (at the dealer from 10/28 to 12/4). I now have 5 rollers on the outside again. the Three that were removed last year were re-installed. The slide had to come out of the RV to re-install the rollers. I checked the slide operation before I left the dealer - went in and out but slower than before but still went in and out without any issues. The bed got dinged up some more when the slide had to come out.
I'll check the slide operation out again tomorrow when it warms up and post some pictures of the modification.
Wonder how may other owners of the CF335SS had the same problem.
If we were a full timer or snow birder we would have ditched this unit by now.
I have a question related to the speed of the slide going in and out. Do have any idea why it's different after it was fixed? It seams to me that it should the same or a little faster or it may just sound different.

Not sure - after it warmed up (60 Vs 35 degrees outside) and I put the side in/out a few times it seemed to speed up a little. There does not seem to be any interference or dragging. With the 3 additional rollers it supported better in the center of the slide.
Here are the pictures - as expected the rollers have left a small indentation in the metal plates. Still trying to get the rollers to roll Vs having the slide drag on top of the roller.
