black sink

I am wondering if anyone else has a problem with their black sink in the kitchen. My sink has spots of gray almost like scratches or fading spots. I do use a rubber mat in it when doing dishes. Any thoughts how to clean it up?

Have the black sink in the bathroom. Thankfully stainless in the kitchen - can't clean the black sink in the bathroom to save our lives - ordered a larger one from camping world in plastic stainless color- probably should have gotten parchment color but when we get back from holidays I am installing the larger bathroom sink. If I don't like the color -I'll replace it next year. I'm sure any color but black will be easy to clean. Have to use a special cloth just to wipe it out. If the kitchen sink is anything like the bathroom sink, I don't envy you.
