OK, the dealer seemed more concerned about it than I was and had more of a crisis than I did when I saw it this morning...
I was ready for 6 inches of the roof to be peeled back and flapping in the breeze
but
there were NO openings and only one wrinkle about 1 foot back from the 6
inches of seam between the front cap and roof.... (do any of you have a
picture of the seam between the front cap and roof ? appreciate a post
of it to compare)
the primary problem was that anyone walking all
the way to the front and stepping with an inch of where the front cap
and the roof meet would cause the roof to flex about an inch downward...
Like some of the political ilk, we chose not to let a crisis go to waste by playing it up and asking for a new one...
so was happy when they offered a winegard slimline and install for our troubles !!!!
The rest of the rv 'looks' perfect and didn't want to chance losing my 55" LED that we talked them into installing
so it looks like it's a go </td></tr></t></table>
