On my last trailer I had one valve for the grey water and one valve for the black water. But on my Cruiser CTX 26RKX there is one valve for black but two valves for grey. My question is yes it has two tanks but what grey water goes to each tank, Is one for kitchen sink and the other for Bath sink and Tub/Shower. Thanks Rick

Had to look up your camper and you would have one gray tank for the kitchen then one for the bath then the black tank.

the answer is YES... one grey tank is for the kitchen sink and the other grey tank is for the bath sink and shower and of course the black tank is for the toilet...years ago they only had one grey tank why they changed is a mystery to me, maybe just for more volume for grey water...that would be my guess...

If you go back far enough there was only a black tank. The gray ran out on the ground or you would catch it in a bucket with holes in the bottom. Then came one tank for black and one for gray unless you had a "wet bath" then still only one tank. Then after separating the bath from the kitchen area they started to add a second tank on some models. It was and is a selling point as more people are buying campers and want a higher gray capacity.

It all depends on the floorplan, if kitchen & bath are at opposite ends, or significantly separated, of the rv then running piping that distance isn't feaseable.
If the tanks are mounted the same level you could add the twist on valve to where you connect your sewer hose, keep it closed, open both grey valves to have them equalize thereby doubling the capacity (bath will always fill faster than the kitchen), do not open the black til both the greys are closed

This is what my 2011 27RLX looks like with the grey tanks labeled.

Yes I did get it figured out, I guess it doesn't really matter as I would drain both tanks after the black tank anyway, but for me I just like to know which is which. Thanks for the help.
