Hello all, the wife and i have been looking at getting back into camping. Something we loved to do when we were younger and our kids 14 and 12 have asked to do for awhile.

We stopped by a dealership today and ran across a couple of Cruiser Aires and was wondering if anyone out there had one and what they thought of them both the good and bads.

From what we seen they are pretty fancy considering back when we camped if you had a TV in your camper something was wrong.LOL

I have an '05 Ford Excursion V10 i tow with. And it's just 4 of us. Looking to enjoy some traveling.

They are very recent additions to the Crossroads lineup, hopefully someone with one will respond soon.

Hi

We have the CTL27RB that we purchased this spring and over all we are pleased with it.
It is a "couples" trailer with lots of room.
We can entertain another couple comfortably and it has good features.

BUT!
It is in no way constructed as good as old trailers, mainly to save weight.
The main slide interfers with cabinet doors by the tv station.
Bathroom is not accesable when slide is in.
Kitchen slide interfers with awning.
The outsidespeakers are behind the door and kitchen slide.
There are other issues but as you can see they are nuisance issues.

We are having issues with tire wear. We have destroyed 3 tires.
I had to replace 2 tires after 4500Km and after another 1400Km, one of those is gone.
I understand that it is a mechanical device that has problems, but I have to return it to my dealer who is more than 1400Km away or get another dealer to fix it.
I have topay forrepairs and then ask for my money back.
It appears that RV dealers dont work like auto dealers.

Over all, like I said we are pleased with our purchase.
We have been approached a number of times by people who are admiring it.

We bought a 2012 CTL27RB recently and really like it. Island kitchen is really unique. The couch-bed is very poorly made as the stitching on seams tear easily. They will replace it as its a common problem. The 2013 model's couch is different and better supposedly.
Not sure about tire problem as we haven't put many miles on it.
Also, make sure dealer puts in shades as ours came with none except in bathroom.
No other problems yet.
