I'm sure they will make more floorplans available, Mike. Crossroads faces hot competition in the 5th wheel vacation market. If I were buying right now, I'd get a Forest River Wildcat Sterling rather than a Cruiser because the former has a large window in the bedroom, which provides both an emergency escape and far, far more light.
I've learned that I'll only need to move it any distance twice a year, as the coastal RV park I'd use most offers summer storage. I'll only need to move it from off-season storage to the park over Memorial Day weekend, and bring it home on Labor Day weekend. My vacations are limited to two weeks duration, but I can take three of those every summer. This means I can move my RV from the RV site to summer storage in the park when my first two weeks is up, then move it back to an RV site for the next vacation, and repeat until the summer is over.
I won't need the vastly superior frame sturdiness of a Cruiser over a Wildcat if I'll only have tomove it any distance twice a year. I won't need the insulation advantage Cruisers have over Wildcats either as I'll be using the RV only in a central California coastal RV park.
At that point the only advantage Cruisers have is superior resale value.
So Crossroads had better offer some Cruiser floorplans with larger bedroom windows if they want me to buy one, and there are doubtless other potential customers with the same opinion. Cruiser bedrooms plain don't have enough exterior light.
