The Cruiser website has been broken into three different ones, straight Cruiser, Patriot/Provincial, and Sahara. Portions of the websites are not yet operational, at least as of a minute or so ago.

If anyone has seen PR announcements from Crossroads about these changes, please post the links here.

I would give them a few days to get everything downloaded and updated on the web site.

Hunter, I was wondering more about market segmentation than the details provided by more complete websites. It looks like the Rushmore is a Seville replacement, not a Kingston replacement. While the Cruiser is a great vacation RV, Crossroads currently lacks a product aimed at the intermediate market currently dominated by Keystone's Montana line.

I'm wondering if Crossroads is splitting up the Cruiser line to fill the current market hole in its offerings.

I don't think that is the case, I think it is the same Cruiser just a couple of different packages available for both. I do agree with you that they seem to lack an intermediate line (I would not call a Cruiser with the full body color a intermediate trailer) but that may be in the works as well. I guess time will tell.

Many floor plans (including ours) have been eliminated.

Seems like a lot of good floorplans are gone? Gee, no family friendly floorplans other than the previous 2 bunk CTX model that's a hold over from the previous model.

I sure hope they upload more floorplans than that!

I'm sure they will make more floorplans available, Mike. Crossroads faces hot competition in the 5th wheel vacation market. If I were buying right now, I'd get a Forest River Wildcat Sterling rather than a Cruiser because the former has a large window in the bedroom, which provides both an emergency escape and far, far more light.

I've learned that I'll only need to move it any distance twice a year, as the coastal RV park I'd use most offers summer storage. I'll only need to move it from off-season storage to the park over Memorial Day weekend, and bring it home on Labor Day weekend. My vacations are limited to two weeks duration, but I can take three of those every summer. This means I can move my RV from the RV site to summer storage in the park when my first two weeks is up, then move it back to an RV site for the next vacation, and repeat until the summer is over.

I won't need the vastly superior frame sturdiness of a Cruiser over a Wildcat if I'll only have tomove it any distance twice a year. I won't need the insulation advantage Cruisers have over Wildcats either as I'll be using the RV only in a central California coastal RV park.

At that point the only advantage Cruisers have is superior resale value.

So Crossroads had better offer some Cruiser floorplans with larger bedroom windows if they want me to buy one, and there are doubtless other potential customers with the same opinion. Cruiser bedrooms plain don't have enough exterior light.

They are probably thinking a person doesn't need all that light/window space in the bedroom. It's not really a space where you spend much time during the day. As far as a emergency escape, I find the window in ours would be adequate if the need would ever arise.

Well if you get a Wildcat be sure and buy the extra year warranty as you will probably need it being a Forest River product.

I sure hope that CR is going to load more floorplans. It seems to me that they are missing a whole segment of cutomers that what a 30+ft bunk unit.

If they are finished, I wonder if Thor has spoken making the 30+ft bunk shopper to a different line.
