We are staying in Bastrop State Park for 4 days and when we went for a hike this morning we saw two Cruisers. One is in the park host site. Is it anyone on the forum?

Keith, hope ya'll didn't get caught up in the wild fire roaring through that area. Read about it in this mornings paper.

Lynn, it started just South of us and the strong North winds pushed it away from us. If it had started North of us I am not sure we could have gotten out quick enough.

Keith,

Yep that was us. We were in site #75 and the park host was in site #72 (I think). I was there with mygirls on a father/daughter Princess weekend. We had about 17 dads in our crowd. I talked to the host...he and his wife pulled out on Sunday. Their 2 month hitch was up.

You should have stopped by and said hi. I would have enjoyed meeting you.

Oh, and one of our dads has a weekend house in the State park area.....we were all very concerned with the fire. Fortunately the fire was across 71 so he was not affected.

Terry, we did not see anyone around when we walked by or we would have stopped. We were in the Piney Hill full hookup area with George and Lynda Ball from here on the forum. They were one site in front of us. Sorry we missed you, I would have really liked meeting you after talking to you on the forum before.

Where is the rain when you need it. I know you are good at bringing it in
