Have any of you duplicated the Cruiser front door and storage keys? If so, where did you find the key blanks?

The rv dealer had the keys, picked out the ones that matched, and took then to a locksmith and had them cut

The main door keys are a controlled key. I just picked up several door key blanks from my dealer and took them to a local hardware store for cutting. They work fine.

My wife went to a local (San Antonio) locksmith and had both keys made. Apparently the locksmith had the correct key blanks. She will test out the keys tomorrow.

The storage compartment keys are a simple generic Briggs and Stratton key, You can get those at just about any key shop.

The entry door keys are a different matter. I looked all over the DFW area and never did find the right blanks.

I finally gave up and called Crossroads CS. They gave me name of the mfger and I called them direct. They shipped me three keys, already cut. But the keys weren't cheap by any means. Best I recall the three keys were somewhere around $30 which included shipping.

Don't know yet if the keys work but the front door key was $2.50. BTW: Crossroads service center in Topeka has the blanks.

My dealer told me that all the storage door keys are the same.
The dealers have a master key for the main door pull lock, but it will not work on the deadbolt.
Dealers stock the keys by number that is on the key. If you can remove the door lock, there is a number on the inside of the lock, that tells the dealer the key number. Been there. Jim

The duplicate keys we had made at a local locksmith all work. This is the front door key. The keys open and lock both locks on the front door.

Guess I need to have some extra keys made. I just spent two hours locked out of my Cruiser because hubby locked the door with me inside. I went out for a minute without my key and couldn't get back in. Since this is the second time, I am getting an extra key made to hide outside. If you haven't experienced this please take notice that if you lock the door with a key it will stay locked until you unlock it with they key. It can still be opened from the inside butif you go out and shut the door you mustunlock it with the key. This doesn't apply to the dead bolt lock.
