Question fresh water always reads full

tons of conversations on this but hoping for some recent updates particular to our 2015 Cruiser 326RE. Just got back from a 4 day camping trip and our fresh water tank guage still reads full even though we took showers, washed dishes, etc. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Good luck! Someone on will have a temporary cure for it, but from my experience it WILL be only temporary. I've had several rvs & none of the gauges worked past the first couple fills.

Dumb question, did you fill the tank before you left?
Were you hooked up to water while camping?

First, fill to overflow, then drain for quite a while. This would be to "wash off" the top sensor window. If that doesn't work, try to find the three thin wires coming from the tank. They represent 1/3, 2/3 and full. The "full" wire could be inadvertently grounded somewhere. These are very tiny, fragile wires, and are often haphazardly installed without much protection. A nail, staple or screw could have easily pierced one.

Helpful information. I will have to get up the courage to even think about removing the insulation to even look at the tank. Thanks for the reply.

Once you do find the courage, add a zipper, Velcro, snaps, or something simple for the next time cause there will be a next time, or just pay any attention to the gauges.
