MY firdge wenton the blink this past weekend, never had an issue before, I was out of town Friday and returned Sat to find it off, the check light was on. I checked my breakers and all GFI's,nothing else had tripped off so I turned it back on and it seemed to be cooling just fine, when I got up Sunday morning I had the same issue, of course it rained all day so I didn't attemp to remove the outside cover to check the backside. Does or has anyone else had this happen and what are some things I should look for, all help is greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing that this is plugged in ? Do any of the 110 outlets work ? My check light comes on if it's running on gas and it runs out.

Ifyour don't smell ammonia, then it is probably electrical. If you can get it to work on gas see if works better. It might be the electric heater. Other things to check would be the thermister and thermocouple (gas mode). The thermocouple keeps the flame burning and the thermister controls temperature. If you unplug the thermister the fridge should go to max cold.

I was thinking that the check light coming on indicated no gas or gas problem, not electrical? May be wrong.

Thanks for the info, I am on shore power but I'll double check and make sure I didn't have it on gas and if push comes to shove we do have a local repair guy that will come out but I was trying to save a nickle.

PS:

Happy Upcoming Memorial Day to All

If you have food in frige. make sure that the thermister is not blocked with something. This happened to us last winter snowbirding.

I checked all outlets and nothing else was off, I will say initially it was on gas so I turned that off and it was on electric, after about an hour it shut off again but with no check light that time. I'll break the manual out this Friday when I return from the big blue and see what I can do before calling the service guy. Just seems strange never had an issue before. It was in storage for seven months while I was deployed, could there be something I missed during startup of my rig even though it's worked perfect for the last month since I returned?

I think Cruiz is on to the problem. You must have a charged battery. The control board runs on 12 volts DC.

Been a while since being on here but I wanted to let everyone know I fixed my fridge problem and yes it was a power problem. I pulled the back panel off and found the plug for the frige laying on the deck, so once I plugged it in all was good so I'm guessing that gets me the Big Dummy award, lol. anyway all is good and thanks for all the help.
