Fuel mileage is very much a personalized measurement of how you drive, weight of trailer, etc; however, I would love to hear overall what kind of fuel mileage everyone is getting pulling their Crossroads Cruiser RV.
I just purchased a 2500HD Diesel GMC Short Bed. Hoping for 10-12 pulling a CF29rk. Only have about 1,000 miles on it at this point. Is this realistic??

We have a Dodge 2500 Cummins with the same trailer, just older. We average about 15 mph. Some times more is we aren't going up and down hills. Going down I10 from Texas to AL we get much better, but then again, it's really flat.
We have been pleasently surprised with our mileage.

I would like to help but I have a V-10 gasser so it would not be apples to apples. The hills are the biggest fuel eater though.

I have an 04 Ford 6.0, crewcab dually 4x4, with 4.10 gears, I pull 35SL PP , I get an average of 9.5 and once in a blue moon I can get 11, but it has to be the wind behind me and downhill, when I pull I usually cruise at about 65mph....

10 to 12 mpg should be realistic with that truck and trailer combo at 60 to 65 mph.

I agree with Hunter 11 If I go 50 mph I will get 14.5 mpg But at 65 its 12.5 and if there are a lot of hill or a strong head wind 11.5

I range between 18 and 25 l/100 at a speed of 95 to 110 kmph. That is pulling a 14,000 trailer with a large wind load. See signature below. One note though is that you will not have any issues pulling with your truck.

We just bought a 2007 Cruiser 29CK and are pulling it with a Ford 250 Diesel. Just checked mileage and we are getting 10 mpg pulling ours.

We have a 2500 Chevy DuramaxTurbo Diesel and generally get anywhere from 11 to 15 MPGpulling our CF27RL depending on the speed and terrain, and we do a lot of travelling in hilly/mountainous areas.Have occasionally gotten 16 on really flat terrain. Couldn't ask for a better tow vehicle!

I have an 09 29RK and only towed it about 200 miles with 05 F-250 CC 6.0,have a total weight of just over 17,000#.I get around 10-12 anytime the camper is hooked up.Might get more if I drove 50 mph,but that ain't going to happen normally.I'm not sure how some people calulate their MPG, seemd to be higher than mine.I'm sure some use the idiot meter on their truck, which isn't correct and most people know that.I do my cal by hand and even if I don't like it ,that what it is.

Normally, 11-13 mpg. Did a 250 mile round trip a couple of weekends ago. Going, 20-25 mph south head wind; coming back, 20-25 mph north head wind.
Got 10.01 mpg.

Depending upon speed, terrain and wind I get between 10 - 12 mpg with my rig. Usual speed is between 60 - 65 mph.

We always calculate our mileageby handwhen we fill up, don't have the idiot meter on our truck. Have records in a book for all our truck fill ups. For each camping trip we do a chart with all expenses and overall mpg for the trip. Wife does all the paper work and keeps excellent records.

I have an '04 Ford F-250 w/6.0 Powerstroke . I get a bit better than 16mpg combined when not towing and about 12mpg when towing on the flat lands and a little bit better than 10mpg when pulling thru the mountains. I have never checked the weight when we are loaded down but assume we are just about the max when we head out for a 5+ day stretch of dry camping with full water tank and all the necessities for a week in the woods .. In the 4 and a half years I've had the truck I have never done a full tank of straight hiway driving without a trailer in tow so I don't know what I would get.
Hey, this Ford's made for towing. So I don't want to disappoint...

When we headed west to SD we got about 11 pulling between 60 -65 mph. Without the trailer hooked I avg. 16 -18 mpg in mixed driving mainly expressway. If I take it easy and keep the speed to 55mph and don't run the RPMs past 2k, I'll see 21 on the expressway. As for the idiot computers, they're pretty accurate. Reset at a fill-up and in about 100 miles you'll have a pretty accurate reading. I have done both methods and mine is pretty dead on.
