I have a 09 29RK Cruiser and have found over the summer several things that I plan on changing and would like any input of how others may have fixed these items.!1-Awning sideTV hookup being inside the storage comptment along with the power outlet ,causing the door to be partway open when used,2- Awning outlet can't be reached without a ladder, 3- Water and cable connect port need cover to stop ants and bugs.Let me know if you might have a cure for these little problems.

To reach the awning outlet I have one of these that I always bring with me.

It serves multiple purposes like hanging the awning lights, cooler stand, etc.

On our Cruiser the previous owner (Thanks Hunter11) wired thehigh awningoutlet to a switch in the control box. It sure makes it nice if you ever want to use it. Edited by: MajandMrs

I take a chair out of the dinette and plug in an ext. cord, then I can plug in a radio and unplug the lights during the day. I leave the awning down to put on lights...then extend itup.

A piece of high density packaging foam cut to fitthe portopeninghelp keepthe creepy crawlies from entering. Cut a slit in the foam to pass the hose and cable through. The foam will form tight around them cutting off the path for the bugs. I am not referring to furniture cushion foam but the type used forpackaging. Polyethylene Packaging Foam is closed cell and won't absorb moisture. I've been using this method for my electrical port for several years and haven't been invaded yet.

Your layout might not allow this but in our unit I use the refrigerator outlet inside the refrig access pannel fora lower outlet.

You could glue a thin piece of rubber(cut from an inter tube) on the bottom side of the access hole. Then cut a couple small cross slits in the rubber for the water hoses etc.

We have a hole cut in the side of our unit from the storage compartment that can we can fish a cable and power cord through for a TV. This was from the factory.
