Where the top line goes into the heater, there is a 1 way built in valve, so when the bottom valve is pointing up and the middle valve is open the water cannot flow into the heater preventing antifreeze from going in.

Thanks mark5w, the one way valve is also the back flow preventer check valve, which I just removed and can't tell if its good or not just by looking at it. Probably just go ahead and replace it and hope that takes care of it. I have tried the by pass valve both ways and the hot still flowed from the cold tap........

Where is this happening at every fauset in the trailer or just one. Don't know if someone asked this question before. I would say the chance of the check valve being bad is pretty slim, but not out of the question.

Is the hot just coming out of the cold side on one sink only ? If so , maybe just the connection under the sink hooked up backwards...

While surfing some other forums here are a few more possibilities.

Bypass valve not turned the right way. You corrected that.

Bypass valve faulty.

Check valve faulty.

No "head" in tank.

Shower head turned off with button but faucet knobs still on.

O ring bad or grit stuck in faucet valve.

Thanks for all the replys, my local rv shop had me install a second check valve down on the cold inlet and that seems to have taken care of it............

We had a mouse problem, so I purchased a three pack of Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller plug in's ($8.00) and placed them through out coach.
No problem since.

Thanks mickeyndallas, I assume those are 110v, be fine for here in the driveway, but most of the time we dry camp except for when the gen is on, which isn't all the time. Between those and peppermint oil cotton balls should take care of the little critters..........
