Issue with Camping World NH and exhaust fan warrentee

I brought my new 2015 Cruiser 322RL into CW a couple weeks ago because of an issue I was having with the exhaust fan. While it was plugged into my house, I was cleaning it out and turned on the automatic fan. This opens the hatch and turns the fan on. When I was done the fan was stuck on and the hatch wouldn't close. I tried everything and eventually called CW where I had just purchased it from. They put a Tech on the phone and he had me try a couple different buttons and nothing worked. He had me unplug the controller and wait 5 minutes and try again. Still stuck on. They told me to bring it in because it was a new unit. He said to unplug the unit from the house and turn off the battery power and manually lower the hatch. So I did.

I just got a call from the Service Dept and they said they couldn't replicate the issue so I was going to be charged for the Diagnosis! I couldn't believe the Writer. I told her I was absolutely not going to pay for that. I followed all of the directions of the Tech. Got nowhere with her. I suggested she have a manager there at 3 when I pick it up tomorrow. This is crazy poor customer service after you purchase a $50K plus unit!

How can they charge you for diagnosis when they did not diagnose anything?

Wow... Nuts! I hope that when you get there the manager will have straightened this out. Best of luck!

Interesting day yesterday. Went into the CW Service center. Spoke with the Service Manager who agreed to remove the charge. He went out to the unit with the service writer who was going to show me how to properly operate the fan. And it didn't work....They are now ordering me a new fan.

I had a similar issue with my MaxxAir. First time the fan motor burned out, the second issue - pretty much as you explained. The culprit was the wall switch....
