Cool It's baaaaack...sort of

After 162 days 2 hours and 28 minutes, I finally got my Cruiser back from the dealer who was doing warranty work. It took an intervention from the Good Sam Vice President and General Manager of the Good Sam Continued Service Plan. Surprisingly, after the dealer was contacted by the GM, my Cruiser was almost completed in 3 days. I say almost because some of the parts received were the wrong color or totally the wrong item. So, sometime after the NE Crossroads rally, I will be returning the Cruiser for the remaining warranty work. I learned my lesson. I will be camping out in the Camping World store until the unit is completed.

Signed,

Half way to being satisfied

I take it that you are talking about Grumbine's.
You are not alone in being disgusted with their service.
... one reason i will never deal with them

Signed another frustrated RV owner.

Mark- I hope they don't take another 162 days to fix it this time. I would verify they have the parts before taking it in and then call the dealership daily. Keep the service manager on speed dial. I have developed such a good relationship with my service manager that I know his email, phone number, best time of day to reach him, and who to speak to when he is not in. In return, he has gotten me in for work ahead of all lines, and even comped me some maintenance services required for my rv warranty forever. Sometimes it's good to be a gentle PITA other times a 2x4 over the head won't help. Again, don't ask how I know.

Crap if you live in your rig full time like us we couldn't be with out or home for 162 days so you would just have to fix it your self. Never thought about just living in it at camping world. It would save me 1000.00 a month for a Rv space

The problem with the dealer you brough it to for your warranty work is they OVERBOOK WORK...Then when you got tired of waiting and start calling them, that is when they stat working on your unit, after it's been sitting in their lot, in your case for 162 days....It's their MO....That's the same game they played on me last winter....Plus they did not fix the main thing I brough it to them to have fixed...Like Walt they will never see me again...
