Lots of installation photos on several 5ers, Travel Trailers, etc. at www.steadyfast.com. Good infoin their installation manual as well.

None of the photos or instructions on their site address the front mounted spare but it appears it would have to be relocated to the rear bumper. Below is an example of how the spare is currently mounted.

I simply moved the spare tire mount towards the rear 8". That kept it out of the way and also kept it from interfearing with the bike rack on the rear bumper.

When I installed my (Plugitrights) I didn't have to move the spare.

Thanks for letting me know you can move the spare tire mount back. I haven't taken delivery yet so have not had a chance to look into it that closely.I have the Winfields on my current 5er and will be moving them to the new one. No way they would work with the spare where it is currently mounted.

This just dawned on me the other day when I was outside and I looked at the spare tire location on ours.

I just moved the spare back 8 inches plus you can use the steady fast without moving the tire also IMHo jb
