Have any of you installed JT Strongarms on your Cruiser? We're interested in installing them on our 32BL and wanted to see how well they work.

I installed this--

Some of the other guys used JT Strongarms. Which ever ones you decide to go with will make a world of difference in the stability of your rig. We really like ours. Shake rattle and roll is GONE!

They had a great deal last year at the rally and they work excellent. They sure made a difference on our trailer. I know that a number of people installed them last year so I am sure they will chime in.

I have had the JT's for a couple of years. We are very happy with them. Theyreally stopped the rocking and rolling. Camping world has some direct knock offs of the JT's for about $50 less than I paid for my JT's at an RV show here :

I have a set of Ultra-Fab Eliminators on our trailer and they work great. I bought them at CW and had them install them.

Got them on my Crusier and they work great! I don't know about other brands but the JTs seem to be really good quality.

Think I'm gonna go with Steadyfast. Like what they say about 3 struts vs. 6 and the pics of installations on various rigs on their website www.steadyfast.com. Read the reviews from Trailer Life plus a guy on the NuWa forum who replaced his JT Strongarms with Steadyfast and found it improved his stability. Also like 3 struts vs. 6 for ease of installation and easier/quicker to use during setup and takedown. Anyone using Steadyfast? Edited by: coastn

Last spring I installed the JT product. It does work as advertised. Quality is very good, instructions are excellent & it only took me a couple of hours to install them.

We went with JTs. Excellent quality and they work great! I did not like the rear strut options for my particular unit. I ended up cutting one of the JT frame spacers in half and weldingthem to the inside face of the rear bumper. Made it much more solid. Very happy with our results.

I added a pair on the front jacks first to help with side to side. Made a big diff. BAL makes a pair for about $60.00. (Only 2 arms) Nice thing is you can add more if you need them to cover front to back movement or on the rear jacks. Don't need to lay out a big amount of cash for the full set like other brands.

Myself,

I went to Harbor Freight and bought adjustable load bars for my stabilizers. Let me explain. I was going to mount them somehow on to the trailer and use them similar to the JT's. One day I decided to just try them between the jacks from top to bottom of the opposite jack and it worked like a charm. It only takes me about 5 minutes to set up 4 of them under thetrailer. One end goes to the bottom block that the jack sits on and then to the top of the opposite jack, tighten them up and it is done. They work great, cost me only about $40.00 and stop all side to side movement. With BAL between the wheel chocks and no movement front to back.

On mine, it didn't work well. What should be the problem? I think the set of Ultra-Fab Eliminators didn't install very well.

I had one of the original sets of Steadyfast on our Paridise Point and I just installed them on the Cruiser and won't leave home without them. There are a significant differences about SF that is important for me plus they are very engineered compared to the others.

Paul is great to assist if needed.I had a part get damaged 4 to 5 years out and a email & a new one was in the mail quickly for free. Now they are the same priceas the pipe models also.IOHO jb
