A resounding success!! I got to look at and touch and feel everything. I tested and retested everything from every manual. Everything worked properly the first try. My only concern that I will discuss with the dealer, is that one of the lounge chairs does not swivel properly. The wife and I are on CLOUD 9!!! Another trip planned Labor Day weekend. Elijah Clark State Park for 4 days.

We are on the way home from our first trip too. 1,350 miles from Lakeview, OH to San Antonio, TX. Pretty much flawless. Aside from being sideswiped there are no major issues. My wife is using a mild rubbing compound to take off almost all the orange paint from the affected area.

We, like you, are ready for our next trip. We were out three nights this time but could not stop for more than an overnight as we need to get home. We cannot wait for a two or three night maiden trip to one place.

Good luck with your Cruiser!

It's always great to have your first trip go well. Glad both of your trips were sucessfull. One of these days I am going to go look at a new 30SK. I want to see what the draw is to the Patriot edition!

We had 3-1/2" of rain just outside Louisville on Friday night. I finally pulled over into a rest area until the rain passed. About 7 miles further down the road it had never even drizzled.

We need lots of rain in our mutual parts of TX.

Chazworth, we had a similar problem with one of our chairs not swiveling properly. Dealer found it during the predelivery check and ordered a new one from the factory. Don't have the new chair yet, but took the base apart on the old chair and discovered the problem. The chair is supported on the swivel base by six standoffs, each standoff has a small ball bearing that rolls on the base. When I took them out, one of the bearings was in pieces, the outer race had broken. Hope this doesn't mean that the six bearings aren't strong enough to support the weight of the chair and the person in it. We also just got home from our first trip with the new 30SK-- love the Patriot features!!!!!!!!!!!
