Mine had double sided tape on it then I ran a bead of clear caulk over the whole thing.

The ones I bought had adhesive backing. Really strong adhesion and I caulked the wire opening with a small dab of clear silicone. better than the original installation.

The one I suggested in my previous post had the 3M adhesive backing. When you shop, look for 'use outdoors'. I added Dicor non-leveling all around it, and in the hole for the wires.

LED lights in front cap.

If your hooking up in the dark they are a great help. I don't know why they put them on there, but I'm glad they did. I have the 2014 Cruiser Aire 28SE and on mine the switch is just to the right of the door in the front compartment. Happy Camping / JOE
