We were recentely in a CK30, and 31RE at an RV show we could not find the light switch in the bedroom?? I ask the salesman where it might be, he couldn't find it either. Please "ENLIGHTEN" me where is the light switch for the bedroom ceiling lights.

We have a 29RL CTX and there is no wall light switch for the ceiling light over the bed which is a problem for the vertically challenged.

The only light switch we have near the bedroom is for the hall light. The ceiling lights have the switch built into them We use the reading lights by the head of the bed.

The above posts are correct. The switches are on the lights themselves. I did wire a wall switch for the closet light which is mounted just outside the closet for added convenience.

The lights for the walk-thru bathroom and stool room are on switches. The light directly above the bed and under the overhead cabinets are not on switches

I don't know about the 31RE. The light switch for the 30SK is right above the bedroom slide switch. Both are located at the top of the stairs, left hand side, just before the bathroom door. I thought it rather odd that it's not actually in the bedroom, but it works for us.

CR must have added that switch in the newer models. My 07 30SK doesn't have it.

Has anyone found a wireless switch that could be added? or know where to get one that could be wired in?
I am interested in putting one right inside of the door also for the kitchen. Entering a dark camper at night after a few "beverages" it can be a challenge to find the right switch in the cabinet.

Wow, I'm pretty much astounded that they would have ceiling lights in the bedroom and no wall switch in the hall or bedroom to control them. I'm sure there is some reason why, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I guess the next question is, does anyone have a reasonable fix (other than a flashlight). I guess maybe a lamp on the dresser just as you enter? Is there an outlet nearby?

In our hall way there is an outlet if I wanted to I would put a nite lite in there, or in the outlet by the bedroom TV

I moved my kitchen entry switch from inside the control box to just outside. Much easier to find in the dark. I will also leave the range hood light on which is pretty dim.

I talked to Randy today about my 2010 CF30Sk. He said it might be quite a job to pull the wall panel from the bathroom and fish wires.
One alternative I am considering is the surface mount wire trace available from Lowe's or such. One could run it across the ceiling and down the wall.

When we leave we just put the flourescent light above the kitchen sink in the night lite position.

I looked at the hall way light more closely last night. I have decided I can fish the wires into the bathroom wall by drilling a small hole in the ceiling and wall inside the bathroom cabinet. A short fish each way and other than a very short loop of wire in the top of the cabinet, nothing has to be disassembled or torn up.
On the short list for the next few weeks.

We have a light switch for our bedroom in our CF31QB, only problem is that's on the outside of the room. Can also be a challenge after some adult bevvies. So far I've only manged to smash my big toe a couple of times. Wife thinks it's funny every time.
On another note, I had to fish a wire from my bathroom fan to a wall switch inside the bathroom as the only switch there was for the light. A little inconvieniant especially for the vertically challenged. It wasn't all that difficult more time consuming than anything.

Sure will. I plan to hit the RV shops this weekend to find a switch and plate. I will take pics as I do the deed and get some on here in a couple of weeks or so.
