Just had our first "shake out" of the new unit.
Overall it performed well with 2 exceptions.
We were getting tons of heat out the vent on the bathroom but nothing out the 3 floor vents. Also the spare tire carrier didnt last 50 miles due to bad welds on the frame.
Thankfully Roadmaster RV in Leduc fixed the welds and re-vented the furnace to give us more flow in the floor vents.
They also installed a vent in the bathroom that can be closed to assist in giving a little more heat to the balance of the unit.
According to the service manager there the furnaces in these units are a little underpowered to begin with.
Hopefully we wont need the furnace that much.
Not bad for the first try out.
I have had a new Class A give me more trouble on the first run out of the dealership

A couple small space heaters about the cabin will do wonders for your heating balance.....not to mention save your expensive propane.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

MJH: I pull mine with the same truck.

I had an oil cooler installed as the engine oil temp was getting a little high in the mountains but other than that i have had no problems.

GSXR, i have seen the floor plan on their site lately.

Those shakedown cruises can be pretty valuable..I always try a camp driveway at the start of the year just to try and catch anything not quite right. Glad you were able to find some good service....

Thanks for the space heater idea. We got one and it worked just great in the mountains last weekend. We did however use the outdoor kitchen for the first time and discovered the outside fridge does not work!

Back to the dealer again!
