Just bought a new Cruiser, going on our first camping trip with it next weekend. I do have some questions about the unit. When I put the electric awning out it is almost level. is there any way to lower awning for more slope ? Where is the fresh water drain ? I like to be able to drain any unused water. On the front cap is LED lights ? are they real ? how do you turn them on ? Thanks.

On the arm of the awning is a series of holes and a button you can push.. push in button and you can lower the angle of awning..you must do it to both sides to keep even or you could leave one side higher to drain water
Fresh water drain on rear left side behind the tires.
LED lights go on with tow vehicle lights.

Welcome to forum and good luck with your Cruiser.

Those LED lights on the front cap are running lights. They will come on whenever your truck lights are on.

On my 305 SK the fresh water drain is driver side, rear, underneath, right next to the stabilizer jack.

To turn the led lights on front the switch is just inside the front storage compartment on the right side.
Also if this is a 2014 check your bed. I just bought one and on the first trip the bed collapsed it was not fastened to the wall and had no support braces. The frame was made of 1X3 and put together with staples and not even anchored to the floor. It is in the shop now and they are having to build a new bed frame.

Our fresh water drains (hot and cold) are blue handles in the storage compartment near the gray/black water tank drain valves.

Drain for the water tank is by the rear jack - drivers side - capped - no valve.

With all of the problems people have had with beds one would think that CrossRoads would improve the design.

I put mine near the inverter, I removed 10 screws holding that panel on, removed panel.. I pulled fuse panel out, disconnected the 4 main power wires, drilled 2 holes behind fuse panel to get to surge protector. mounted my remote in closet near thermostat. was going to mount below thermostat but didn't want to drill into thermostat wires.

I couldn't find a switch in front storage compartment. I assume the compartment that contains battery ? I did find a light in there I didn't know I had. I just received the camper 7 days ago. I did get my awning adjusted down. I'm glad you mentioned about the bed. Wow. flimsy. gonna be reinforcing that with 2X4's. Found a problem with one of the leather recliners. "JUNK" has a bent frame, looked to see why leg rest wont work, frame is twisted, wife sat on it and wobbly, ready to collapse. wifey isn't all that heavy either.

We found that both the recliners and the sofa were real real poor quality. The recliners didn't even fit when the sides were retracted, causing the arm on one to rip. On one trip one recliner opened in route and broke the window valence. We have since replace both recliners and the sofa with units from Lazy Boy- made in America.

My wife bought 2 new recliners today to replace the poor quality ones that came with our Cruiser. That's sad - a Brand new 5th wheel.. our first outing with it tomorrow. I reinforced the bed frame. it's not gonna collapse.

We've used our new Cruiser 3 weekends in a row. I had some issues and fixing things, etc. I noticed the floor in cargo area was wet, problem was a broken "J" trap below shower.Also- first time I added water to tank water ran out. that little tube with a cap wasn't fastened to tank, was broke off at elbow. Just little stuff. Wellll anyway. We're having trouble figuring out heater/ AC thermostat. why does it have to be so complicated ? we turn heat on, something is going on with AC. We really don't get much heat out of registers, sure didn't expect AC to make noise. any one else having problems ? I traded my 99 Jayco Designer for Cruiser. it had a much simpler heat/ Ac system.

If I lower one end, is it ok to retract the awning or do I have to make it level again prior to retracting?

Thanks

I've never tried but methinks it wouldn't retract correctly with different length arms. I'm not going to try....
